      Before starting any design, it is important to consider the location that may affect the buildings performance.

Allandale is a small village in the Falkirk council area in the central lowlands of Scotland. Allandale is located 1.6 miles (2.6 km) south-west of Bonnybridge, 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-east of Cumbernauld and 5.4 miles (8.7 km) west-southwest of Falkirk.

 

  The site is borded by two railways. It's an open area, there is wood at the south and east south and a field at the east of the location.
